Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, Mahisagar, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch,
Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad and in Daman, Dadara Nagar Haveli; in all the districts
of Saurashtra- Kutch namely Surendranagar, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Junagadh,
Amreli, Bhavnagar, Morbi, Dwarka, Gir Somnath, Botad, Kutch and in Diu.
Monsoon Season 2024: Update: Rainfall Accumulation in Gujarat
South Gujarat districts experienced continuous rain on Thursday, with Kaprada in Valsad receiving 33mm of rainfall. Choryasi taluka in Surat recorded 22mm, Umargam in Valsad saw 18mm, Jalalpore in Navsari had 14mm, and Kukarmunda in Tapi district received 13mm. Fortunately, no major incidents have been reported due to the rain.
On Wednesday, Umargam recorded 66mm of rain, while Valsad town saw 56mm. The arrival of the monsoon has transformed Dang district into a tourist hotspot, drawing thousands of visitors.
